Calorie Deficit = Fat Loss

A Calorie Deficit is what is needed for humans to lose body fat. There are hundreds of different fat loss diets out there but in the end, this is the principle for every single one of them, a Calorie Deficit. So, if you’re stuck with your fat loss journey or you’re confused by the amount of false information out there just know that it’s all down to calories in VS calories out in almost every case. This can be done by consuming less calories or by burning more through exercise. Ideally doing both of these together will yield optimal results and keep your body and mind healthy. Apps such as My Fitness Pal allow you to track your calories and also your Macro’s. Macro’s (Macronutrients) are what your calories are made up of and they all play an important part in fuelling the body. Protein and Carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram whereas Fats contain 9 calories per gram. This is where making smart food choices and eating foods which will fuel your body for longer periods of time come into play. So next time you see a marketing campaign pop up on Instagram promising fast results with little to no work. You can laugh because you now know it all comes down to what you put into your body and the amount of exercise you are doing per day.
