INGREDIENTS: ¼ cup light soy sauce 1 ½ tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger 1 clove garlic, minced 1 pound salmon fillets 1 teaspoon sesame oil 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
STEP 1: Whisk the honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic together in a bowl until the marinade is evenly mixed. Set aside 1/4 of the marinade for later.
STEP 2: Place the salmon fillets in a dish and pour the remaining marinade over the salmon. Cover the dish with aplastic wrap and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
STEP 3: Heat up the sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
STEP 4: Remove the salmon from the marinade. Shake it to remove any excess marinade and then place it skin-side up, into the hot oil; cook for 4 minutes. Discard any unused marinade. Flip the salmon and drizzle the reserved 1/4 of the marinade over salmon; then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork for 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the salmon and remove the skin, and then cook for 1 minute more. Enjoy!
